MORNING GLORY ENERGY BALLS (with ashwagandha)

Ingredients:
70g Brazil nuts
30g sunflower seeds
120g pitted dates
10g ashwagandha powder
1 tsp spirulina
40g hemp protein
2 tsp acai powder
1/2 banana
1 ½ tbspn. honey
20g (1-2 tbspn.) coconut oil
Desiccated coconut – for coating (optional)
Method:
In a powerful blender, blitz the brazil nuts and sunflower seeds and set aside. Then whizz the dates, ashwagandha powder, spirulina, hemp, acai, banana and honey.
Melt the coconut oil in a pan for less than a minute and add to the mixture.
Roll into balls and cover in the desiccated coconut.
Notes:
Spirulina, acai and ashwagandha are natural stimulants, for a less cortisol-spiking kick to your morning than a double espresso.
