Immune Boosting Smoothie Recipe

This week we thought we would share her Immune Boosting Smoothie – it’s one of our favourites – that is full of power foods (not to mention all the antioxidants) to give you a real boost and that much-needed spring in your step, something we are all craving.

This smoothie will help to keep your immune system strong and assist your body effectively in fighting off those irritating germs that try their best to get the better of us.

Immune Boosting Smoothie Recipe 


• 1 – 2 cups collard greens

• 1 large carrot (chopped)

• 1 apple (cut up)

• 1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

• 2 strawberries (fresh or frozen)

• 6 – 12 ounces water

Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix until a good consistency, then simply drink up and enjoy.

You can divide the recipe into two servings and drink up twice a day. With all the beneficial fibre this drink packs, it will keep you feeling fuller for longer too – an added bonus and that’s a win-win in our books!
