SUGAR, DAIRY & GLUTEN FREE
The easiest no blending or baking protein balls, makes 12 balls approx.
80 g. good quality nut butter (peanut almond or cashew)
75 ml. agave syrup
75g (1 cup) of desiccated coconut
4 heaped tbsp. protein powder – hemp or flax seeds etc.
4 heaped tbsp. cocoa powder
3 tbsp. chia seeds
Extra cocoa powder/desiccated coconut for decoration
Take the chia seeds and add to half cup of water. Wait 20-30 minutes for the water to absorb the seeds.
Take a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, agave syrup, cocoa powder and desiccated coconut together.
Add the chia mix to the bowl and stir together.
Line a tray with baking paper.
Using the palm of your hands, roll the mixture into small balls
Take the desiccated coconut/cocoa and roll each ball into your favourite coating.
Set the balls on the tray and leave in the fridge for about 1 hour.
