Organic September: Good things happen when you go organic!
It is not too late to join the tribe going organic this month with Soil Association. Their campaign celebrates organic products and the aim is to encourage people to buy and grow organic products, it is a lot easier than you think.
There is now an incredible amount of organic products available, as more and more people are understanding and seeing, not only the health benefits but the effects it has on the entire environment.
Organic foods often contain higher levels of nutrients and an absence of pesticides. This means that choosing organic food results in more of the good stuff and less of the bad stuff entering your body!
Organic means higher levels of animal welfare, lower levels of pesticides, no manufactured herbicides or artificial fertilisers and more environmentally sustainable management of the land and natural environment – this means more wildlife!
Start small and swap one or two items on your shopping list. Why not try switching your milk, coffee or bananas for organic options? Before you know it you will be making this a daily habit.
You know it makes sense, start today and see and feel the benefits.
